Inspiration

Have you ever had that feeling that you just don't care about anything. I don't know what it is I'm going through but for the last couple of months, I really just didn't care about anything. Well, I kept up the usual routines such as going to work, paying the bills and etc. but I feel like I haven't proven myself. I don't know what it is. Right now, I'd rather go to sleep.

I got me a new camera a couple of months ago and I've been tinkering with it alot. Man, cameras have come a long ways since I was in Farkas' photography class at WRHS. I remember running around campus taking pictures of junior high life. The fun part was messin' with the chemicals in the lab. Anyway, there are a few new pics up in my flickr that you can check out and makes some comments on.

Hey, a couple of weeks ago, I met the new Mr. Olympia, Jay Cutler. Man, that dude is huge and was one person that I admired when I was lifting weights about ten years ago. Dang, what if I hadn't stopped.... geez, college degree, big muscles, college degree, big muscles..... well, at least I weigh about as much as he does but in the other direction. Haha. Well, I got inspired again and have been lifting again. It's way harder this time to get going but it sure feels good to feel the pain and gain. Here's what my routine will be for a while:

Monday: Chest/ triceps/ abs
Tuesday: Back/ biceps/ forearms
Wednesday: OFF
Thursday: Legs/ abs
Friday: Shoulders/
Weekend: OFF

I haven't lost much muscle fortunately because my calorie intake has been high so I hope I can start to lift heavy again soon. My goal is to not be a wasting sack of shit at age 40.

My wife can solve a Rubik's Cube in a couple of minutes. Really. Seriously, I think she's a ninja or a Jedi. Sometimes I'm afraid for my life she's so awesome.

All Indian Woman

There are a couple of exams to become a civil engineer; the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE, EIT)and the Professional Engineer exam (P.E.). I passed the FE and after the fourth year in internship, I will be eligible to take the P.E. exam and in passing it I will become a full CIVIL ENGINEER.

If there was ever an exam on becoming a Navajo, my wife has passed it with assorted flying colors. Besides being a loving spouse, she makes an impressive mutton stew and chili beans with Navajo tortillas and Fried Bread respectively (all by her self).

Ever since I first laid my chizhi eyes on her, I have never labeled her as my white lady but only as my Karen. Really, this is beyond her holding the leg during the sheep butchering or the cleaning of the a'chii....she is most qualified and may well be entrusted with the title of saanii in charge (S.I.C.) even more than most that are were born for the job. She is Dine'.

I think I'm all better now

Last night I watch a rerun of the SuperBowl XL. I felt like I was grinning and I was, I think I'm all better now. Now comes the blogging days of spring!!! woo hoo!!! I'm looking forward to long hot summer, hopefully so I can spend more time in my pool. Last year I think I only jumped in 5 times. That's some sad summer fun. This fall I dumped the water and we're going to move it towards the corner of my back yard so I can establish a place to have a lawn. OOOhh this should be fun. Rock on my people, hope you all had a good Christmas season.

new addition to the family

We have a new addition to our little family..... a kitty named Jingles. It's little black and long haired. I was hoping that Brewski would eat it but that didn't happen.

Randy Castillo Day

Today is Randy Castillo day. It's official by the Mayor of Albuquerque, Martin Chavez.

Randy Castillo, what an awesome drummer and musician. I saw him once when he played with Ozzy Osbourne with a then time small opener Metallica in the spring of 1986 at Tingley Coliseum on Ozzy's Ultimate Sin Tour. My first show that I ever saw that I saw two awesome musicians that had their lives cut too short, Randy Castillo and Cliff Burton.

Thanksforgimme Day

I'm still here.

I have a lot of things I wish I could blog about but I feel that most of that shit I must keep to myself or blather about it on a later date.

This is all besides my Steelers, really. They suck ass and I love 'em, but that's beside the point.

Up until Thanksgiving day, I've been a wreck. I've been way thankful of what I have in my world. I've worked hard to get where I am but it seems people want to somehow leech from my being by asking for monetary help. By all means, I'm not a rich dude. I just provide for my family.

I've heard this argument....Help your family at any lengths, but I don't want to help the ones that think they deserve 'handout'. Navajo way says, help your family at all costs. What that means is provide help to those who are in dire need. I'm not here to pay your bills, fill your Hemi's tank. Geez.

Parts of me says, fuck it...other parts say give 'em what they want........some other parts say jump from the Wyoming bridge and see if they care. Well, I'm sayin' fuck it. I could be any other place but here but I want to be here. I've reached goals that I've sought since I was a kid. I'm me. I've got to take care of my own. If you can't prepare, shame on you. It's Thanksgiving time, not Thanksforgimme Day.

I voted. I'm glad that the campaigning is over and the negative adds on my tv have stopped. I wanted to blog about alot of stuff but I might sound like too much of a complainer than thinking positive about our nation. I know that we have it better than any country on this planet. Sometimes it sucks ass but I love it.

Now if the damned Steelers start playing like world champs, maybe I'll get back to normal.

Last Sunday, my wife and I went to see Carlos Mencia at the Kiva Auditorium in Albuquerque. I was by far one of the best shows that I have ever witnessed.

At first, we had bought our ticket way back in the middle of the summer and got what I thought were the very last seats available for the show. Between then and the time of the show, they added another show that night at 9pm. I kept checking the net and found that there were seats way up front. Ahh shit!!! I could try to sell these but they were way in the back row, nobody would even think of buying theses nosebleed seats. Oh well, they were Carlos Mencia tickets, it'll still be good. I was right. Of course I would have loved to be seated in spitting distance, but I think my wife would have been kind of unconfortable considering the content of his shows. Hella show. She loved it.

I'm sure some of you have seen Carlos Mencia's stand up or his Comedy Central Mind of Mencia show, but I have found that he is one of the most honest persons I have ever seen in show business. He really understands Freedom of Speech and the awareness of our social differences and sums it up into a comedy routine that will make you piss your pants. I think I made a little pee too. Shit, he was was funny. For most people, who are uptight and abide by thorough political correctness will find 90 percent of show offending and will usually run off crying that he said, "black" instead of, "African American".

I, like Carlos Mencia, don't like stupid people and will make time to point out their stupidities. I don't try to be like Carlos, but we share alot of views and you'll find that some of my posts may be in your view insensitive and politically incorrect. I, as you do, have the freedom to say what ever we want to say. I just wish I had come up with the idea to make a living out of all the dumbasses around us.

Hey my good people, find time to laugh!!! It makes the world go around alot smoother. Rock on.
